I have come across people making mistakes in simple mathematics. No, I am not thinking of the different charges each time I went to this mamak shop in Batu Gajah. For rice, mutton, and vegetable, and teh tarik, I would be charged differently each time, ranging from Rm5.00 to 5.50. Even with just teh 'o' kosong and roti canai, I was charged Rm1.50, 1.60 or 1.80! It is not so much the amount, but the differences each time that makes me wonder if there is a price list at all. But I suppose it works on the principle 'it evens out over a period of time'! Sometimes, you gain and sometimes, you lose.
Some people make the mistake of saying 'the price was reduced 200%'! Something impossible. Or, 'the price was increased 100 times' when what they meant was 100%.
We have often come across politicians, especially, saying they are putting in 110% effort into what they are doing. Well, someone has come out with a mathematical calculation to show what that means!:

Remember, this is a strictly mathematical viewpoint. It goes like this:
What Makes 100%? What does it mean to give MORE than 100%? Ever wonder about those people who say they are giving more than 100%? We have all been to those meetings where someone wants you to give over 100%. How about achieving 103%? What makes up 100% in life?
Here's a little mathematical formula that might help you answer these questions:

So, one can conclude with mathematical certainty, that while Hard work and Knowledge will get you close, and Attitude will get you there, its the Bullshit and Ass kissing that will put you over the top.
