How should we judge a government?

In Malaysia, if you don't watch television or read newspapers, you are uninformed; but if you do, you are misinformed!

"If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing." - Malcolm X

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience - Mark Twain

Why we should be against censorship in a court of law: Publicity is the very soul of justice … it keeps the judge himself, while trying, under trial. - Jeremy Bentham

"Our government is like a baby's alimentary canal, with a happy appetite at one end and no
responsibility at the other. " - Ronald Reagan

Air Asia's response in Facebook sucks too...

Second comment on their page after seeing their response to other people:
BKO ▶ AirAsia hmm, Funny I wrote a complain on this wall around 11am and no comment from AirAsia? So you only comment to passengers with good comments?

On the left there is a [red fact] saying that you'll revert to our complains in 5 working days. I've wrote my complain on the 25 October 2010 after returning from Bangkok about my 6 hour wait in the airport without refund due to a cancelled flight on the 21 October and guess what? 5 working days and I'm still waiting for a response.

I've checked my personal email to see and so far I've only got automated responses saying that you are 'working' on it. I guess must be dealing with all those complains. Very soon you'll be reaching the 100 million complain mark...

Congratulations

BKO The first complain I made on 25 October was CAS-46819-WVX063 CRM: 0001816 and the second complain was lodged yesterday night CAS-54330-X581Z1 CRM: 0001256. I hope to get someone to tell me what form of compensation I should get for all the complains I listed initially. Its totally unacceptable and not in line with your mission and visions towards customer care. Thanks

First post by me on facebook:
BKO ▶ AirAsia hmm, Funny Dorothy wrote a complain on this wall on 21 October 2010, around 4pm and now it's missing from the wall (although I can see it if I click on her site).

5 working days and I'm still waiting for a response... Seems like only good news is kept on this wall?
