Groups — whether NGOs or political parties — deemed unfriendly to the federal ruling parties are often denied registration. If Suaram should be on trial for using a roundabout way to register itself with the state, then the ROS and their political master, the home minister, should be in the dock for insulting the Federal Constitution and betraying citizens.

Yes, Suaram should certainly not enjoy any special discrimination. Exactly because of that, NGOs promoting human rights should enjoy as much freedom of association as those groups opposing human rights. Is that too much to ask of our prime minister, Najib the Moderate

"The unfair discrimination and selective persecution of unfriendly NGOs as compared with favouritism when dealing with friendly ones are as obvious as thumbing their noses at us with a 'so what?' Reports by favoured ones were swiftly attended to by the authorities . I think they are trying to wear us down with their persistence. It can be both boring and tiring just mentioning their same old same old antics."

What I wish to know is whose permission was it referring to in this case? FB, TheNutgraph or Chin-Huat Wong? Anything to do with the new Act which presumes one guilty unless proven otherwise?
